I am still trying to figure out why the one on the top left figures that he can create a million daycare spaces subsidized at $1000/month and only spend $1.3B. Can we hire him to do the cap numbers for the Nucks???
Let see - Sedins - $7M a piece, great that is $1.4M cap.
Sbisa, Sutter - hey, go ahead, sign them up for $4M. That will be $800K cap for the pair.
works for me! |

I think it is hard to put the Sedin's in the top 50 if we are talking a fantasy league.
Many leagues count more than just G, A and points.
If we are ranking the top 50 forwards based upon points alone or impact on the team, I have them in there for sure.
But when you take Goalies, defenseman and other stats, I don't think it is unrealistic to not see them represented.
I think also that most pundits agree that the Canucks look primed for regression, obviously this remains to be seen but there are very few people predicting this team improves or maintains the same play as last year. While this might be hard for some to swallow and might not be true, it is certianly the safest bet.
I expect the Sedins to be in the top 50 in scoring next year but the top 10 I doubt. |

The NDP are giant hypocrites. I can't wait until they win and everybody can start blaming them for everything that isn't perfect in this truly great nation that we live in. |

Canucks are viewed as a soft team . Not only the twins but the entire team. Unfortunate for the Sedins they are the face of the team so they take all the punches.
Tanev or Edler have never fought either but they are Teflon. Slides right off and falls back on the Sedins |

aaaaand...there are no other 'one dimensional' players in the top 50? Sedins may lack a few things that certain other players have but after finishing 8th and 10th respectively and being consistent scorers in the top 25, pretty baffling how they aren't rated higher.
Good luck winning a cup with Kesler by the way...
- LordHumungous
Yep, once they realize they need to make more moves,,, the 11 mil they have locked up on Kesler and Bieksa is going to look comical. |

Probably the only way they would truly act on the behalf of the people rather than themselves... If the actual threat of being eaten was on the table. |

They must have missed Knuckles Sedin leading the charge into a couple of brawls last year |

There is not a team in the nhl that would not love to have the Sedins! Anyone who says different is just plain clueless. They have been carrying the load for years and still no second line and they still get it done most nights.

You don't get points for fighting to be ranked as one of the top end players, if you did, Bob Probert and Tiger Williams would have been rated right up there with Gretzky, Lemieux, Sakic and company
Unless you're THN of course |

People that do nothing but bash other teams top players while seeing their team with rose colored glasses is the problem.
For some reason many of these idiots cannot identify with the idea that you can be a hockey fan first and foremost and secondly have a favorite team.
I love our Canucks. This goes back to 80-81. More importantly I love this game.
I can certainly appreciate other players despite their fan base.
