been reading these columns for a week now. it seems that a lot of fans just don't get that this doesn't have anything at all to do with what the fans think should be done, or what is best for the team's chances of winning, this is about what the owners of the hawks think. and they don't strike me as the type of boss that would sit down with an employee over and over and have the employee look them in the eye and say that he will not do something again, and then just do it again. over and over, and worse each time. most of you would not put up with that either, if you take your love for the blackhawks out of this.

Whether it is a just rumour or actual fact, any decision by the Blackhawks on what to do next can't and won't be made unilaterally. Too many connected parties at senior levels in the chain are involved. And there will be plenty of slimy lawyers offering their advice on how to proceed.

watching hawks vs wild, game 4...toward end of 1st....krugs in alone, tween the hash marks all alone and doesn't even come close to scoring...not even close, I tell ya! what does one pay a 3rd/4th C with absolutely ZERO offensive skills. I love the guy, but he couldnt score in the bunny ranch with a fist full of hundreds

Tred...except "Bob" is in the alleged victim's social network circle. He had access to the info those around her. Don't know if that's still the case or not...people aren't the smartest with that stuff.

On the surface, it all seems ridiculous (coming from that source), but the reality was a bit diffeent

Sadly, they may have been overall more accurate on this than the 'award winning journalist' in Buffalo. Still worth a grain of salt or two

No, one of the reasons he MAY be traded, even if nothing sticks, is that the Blackhawks have no way of knowing if PK gets in trouble again in the future. And his history indicates that another incident is just around the corner, no matter his 'assurances' to the team.

Say nothing sticks and they keep him. And then in February 2016 he beats up a cabbie/gets drunk with college girls/exposes himself in a bar/ swings from the rafters with a Hooters girl/takes hostages. What's he worth then? And based on his history, how can the Blackhawks have confidence he won't go off the rails again?

The Blackhawks are now basically using game theory to determine their optimal move. And it MAY mean that moving a volatile asset for more stable assets gives the team the best chance to win.
