I won't cram an entire fan base under one umbrella, I hate when people do that. I probably personally know more Oiler fans than any other fan base outside of our own, and most are really cool and know and love their hockey.

It's so funny to me, I live (quite literally) in a hockey desert. In my close friend circle, I know four other hockey fans- Two Blackhawks fans (both from Chicago, so they're credible non-bandwagon types) 1 Redwings fan. and a Blue Jackets fan. To find division would pretty much wipe out the small community we have. For reasons stated, I like this board a lot.
That, and my friends/neighbors to the north have such a prolific wealth of knowledge, I learn stuff just by reading the conversations here.

P.S. snsnksnocps has given me all the material I need for a rather nice piece- mentally already half written. I opted against it. I hope he finds the gift of Seroquel 40 mil tablets.
