They've been trying to give Vinny away for two summers now. Itd likely be a situation like Grossmann, where the other team's primary focus was getting Schenn & being willing to take on Lecavalier, like Arizona agreed to assume Pronger to get Grossmann for Gagner & a lower pick. - Jsaquella

It would be, assuming the Kings don't get knicked with Richards' grievance.
I just read back, and I don't like the original trade much either. I like Skinner, but he's coming off a bad season-18g/13A/31 points in 77 games. Hell Vinny had 20 points in 57 games.
Skinner is younger and a better skater, but at $5.75mm and a longer term, I'd want more of a sure thing if I'm tossing in a 1st & a 3rd. Plus, after next season, they're not getting any cap benefit, Skinner's deal is bigger and longer than Vinny's |

Yeah, like I said before, If I could get Skinner for just Vinny, L Schenn and a 3rd, I'd do the deal. But I'd be really leery bout giving up more for a guy with concussion issues who looked to be struggling last season.

Yeah, the contract & concussion issues with Skinner are enough of a red flag for me to say nope, even to Vinny, Schenn & a 3rd, TBH. I think they might get a 2nd for Schenn at the TDL |

The reason I'd make that deal is basically because if, and it's a big if, Skinner can stay healthy, he's a much better player than Vinny or L Schenn at this point. But, all in all, I really don't see a deal happening.

AMac is only the answer if the question is:
Who's the Flyers most overpaid dman that should have never been acquired and re-signed.
- BiggE
Incorrect Sir! AMac is also the answer if the question is who is an absolute solid second pair defenseman. |

Oh right like 25 years ago when the Bills lost superbowl like 11 times in a row? Forgot about that. Before my time.
Oh sorry, I was just thinking of the last time the Bills were relevant since I was born. The Flyers have been relevant for 18 (?) out of the last 21 seasons they've played. |

That was a sizable upset in that Super Bowl 25 years ago in Tampa. The Bills were a 7 point favorite, and the Eagles beat them with their backup QB. |
