Question on PTOs: If you accept a PTO, and then another team offers you a contract, can you accept, or are you stuck with the PTO team? |

I think the team he initially accepted the PTO has to release him first. |

See, here's my issue: You say (of the Boston series): "if they had gone on to win the Cup, it would have finished #1." But that's judging what happened after the game 7, after the entire series. I know it's your personal opinion, and that it's the Rangers, but how do future events play into how exciting those Game 7's were? - jmatchett383
Well, I am old enough to remember the 74 game and for this 8 year old kid, it was perhaps the most riveting and exciting game I ever saw!

That's fine. You're wrong, but that's fine. I just didn't like the reasoning is all.

I just need to catch you in the wee hours of the morning, before you've obtained your magical scotch powers. I'd consider stealing all of your scotch to render you powerless, but I could see you summoning all of the powers of Hell in a fit of blind rage. |

Because I like to tell stories that go nowhere:
My dad's friend Bill was in his 30s/40s when my friends and I were in our teens.
We used to play basketball against Bill, and we'd kick his ass until he was about 20 Coors Lights deep, and then he became this magical machine who couldn't miss from anywhere.
Later, he decided he wanted to become a goalie (dubbed "The Keginator") and the same thing: We'd light him up until he couldn't stand up straight, and then he became a brick wall.
So yes, alcohol can sometimes increase your ability to engage in physical activity. |

It's only hyperbole when you don't have the context and understand the system that I'm right. |

Many fans also don't consider Streit being a great mentor for Ghost possibly as well. I think a lot of fans ignore the fact that it's pretty abnormal to have 2 of the best point scorers in the league and a goalie with 3rd best save % and not make the playoffs. Especially with how badly we missed the playoffs. As someone said, we are for sure not a cup contending team, but I wouldn't say we aren't a playoff team. I've eager to see Hakstol's impact on our team and this season - arichardson22

Ah, good example.
Also, what a stroke of good luck. He would have made the AMac signing look good. |
