18% is good for a sedentary 50 year old man. He should be ashamed of himself.

I wonder what is Kessel's body fat? Or what was V's a few years back after mama V's dumplings

So, former Devil Ken Danekyo is the guest of honor at the JCC Sports night tonight. Should I:

A. greet him warmly and make polite conversation

B. just mumble "hi" and walk on

or

C. Yank his sportsjacket over his head while throwing punches and shouting "(frank) you and (frank) your mickey mouse team!"

Doubt anyone is moved before the season starts. More likely the team suffers an injury and needs the defenseman.

I would expect Schenn to be moved at the deadline and possibly Streit if he has a similar year to last season.

I think this might be Brayden's final year as a Flyer unless he really improves. His next contract could be sticky and I'm not sure Hexy is thrilled with either Schenns play

In all seriousness, 18% bmi isnt all that crazy.. Id be willing to be the teams avg. BMI is around 12%.
- jak521

BMI and bofy fat % are two different metrics.
BMI is a ratio of weight to body surface (<18.5 BMI is underweight in a normal population)

Didnt Cleary do that to us a few seasons ago?
- jak521

I don't think that was a PTO situation. He basically used the Flyers as leverage, it seemed.

I know... I work in sports medicine.

Usually, the metric that is used when referring to weight stability is BMI. BFP is a different metric altogether. I wasnt going to go all in because people get antsy.

I had a whole blog dedicated to people trying to tell me that a fracture and a broken bone are not the same thing.

you are both making assumptions and are incorrect about them.

In all seriousness, tell him that you have nothing against him as a person, but can never fully forgive him for stealing 2 Stanley Cups from the Flyers.

I know its practically mandatory around here to hate everything that was ever adorned with a Devils logo, but I always liked Dano, and I like listening to him on NHL Live when he's one of the panellists.

Remember too, just like wrestling.. hockey isnt as much fun without a top heel.

I don't understand this. That's like...a relatively widespread issue. Do people think fractures are "less" than breaks?

Well, I'd argue that a hairline fracture is more of a split than a break.

Just a heads up, the Flyers are having their annual blowout sale this Saturday from 10-3. There's stuff from the Flyers, Sixers, and Phillies up to 90% off. I got my wife a $1 Talbot shirt and some cute outfits for my daughter. They also had game used stuff and 50% off the fan zone store (not sure if they're doing that again). It's worth checking out if you have the time.

Good points and all kidding aside, I look forward to meeting him.

However, if the guest was either Scott Stevens or Claude Lemieux, well, lets just say that Mrs. BiggE would be needing bail money.

A lot of bail money.
