Neither one is even close to Stevens or Claude Lemieux on my most hated opponent list. - BiggE

I don't understand this. That's like...a relatively widespread issue. Do people think fractures are "less" than breaks?
"Think of how stupid the average person is. Then realize half of all other people are stupider than that." - Giroux_Is_God
Yea... I was told flat out that a fracture isnt as bad as a break...
Look up comminuted fracture.. google images if you have the stomach to tolerate that kinda stuff.
You would be surprised. |

I met Claude Lemieux at the draft. I didn't know what to say but he was incredibly friendly. |

Well, I'd argue that a hairline fracture is more of a split than a break. - jmatchett383
If you say "I fractured my leg" then you are in a cast because you broke your leg.
Hairline fractures are indeed "less severe" than a fracture, if you want to put it that way.
I think what you said is the reason some people think "fractures" aren't the same as a "broken bone"
Not to split hairs, anyway. Er...split bone. |

I've worked retail pharmacy. Stupid is everywhere and doesn't surprise me anymore.
Is a that like a compound fracture?
EDIT: Nope. Looks a like a good ol fashioned bone shatter. Noice. |

Compound is when it breaks through the skin and tissue. Now its commonly referred to as "open" or "closed" fracture.

If you knock on a window to hard and it cracks... would you say "Sorry I broke your window" , or "Sorry I didnt break your window, just cracked it"
Stress fx or hairline fx or the ilk are still broken bones. Are they comminuted fractures? No.. but in either case, the bone is still broken. |

I know... I work in sports medicine.
Usually, the metric that is used when referring to weight stability is BMI. BFP is a different metric altogether. I wasnt going to go all in because people get antsy.
I had a whole blog dedicated to people trying to tell me that a fracture and a broken bone are not the same thing.

What I like about this list is the draft picks are incoming and not outgoing. Nine picks already in each of the next two drafts.
Some people thought Gio was going to get $9MM AAV on this contract. Calgary's D core is solid. |

I have a crack in my window. My window is not broken. I would consider my window broken when it ceases to function as a window. Until then, it is not broken, as it still performs its primary function.
Why are you trying to break people's windows? |

The only thing that is more entertaining are Amac jokes followed by the usual suspects posting laugh and thumbs up emoticons. That definitely adds to the quality of the forum.
