Im hoping for Baertchi Sutter Vrbata. I am excited about Sutter coming over and although carolina and pitsburgh fans say he sucks, i think hell do great on the nucks. Hoping he takes over Vrbatas spot on the powerplay with the sedins then having baertchi horvat vrbata second unit. save burrows and higgins for penalty kill.
Also nobody answered yesterday but do you think one of Fox or Valk will have a decent year in utica? - phyllee
I hope Valk can make the team, they definitely need some offensive help at centre. Fox I think will be up and down from Kalamazoo and Utica.
I would much rather Horvat get the offensive line mates and zone time. Most of Sutter's offense comes off the rush or in transition because of his speed, he would be wasted with other offensive players imo.

If they become even high-end AHL'ers, I'll call it a win. |

It's not a big stretch . They need to beat out Weber Sbisa Corrado and Bartowski |

That's fast tracking them a bit, I imagine they will be in competition with more of the next gen guys like Subban, Pedan Brisebois, Hutton, etc. |

If they're defencemen and they're high end AHL'ers, that puts them in our top 4. |

Should have worded it better. Meant to say that if in their primes(26-30) if they become either a top 4 dman or top 6 forward in the AHL then I'll call it a win.
I'm talking Adam Cracknell, Alex Biega, etc type of level.
Literally a dime a dozen players that you can sign any year for peanuts. |

Bieksa in his prime blows them all away. Even Booner would agree with that.
I was once high on Corrado but his development has staggered, hopefully he can become a decent bottom pairing dman. Biega and Sbisa are similar, physical but don't do much else. Weber is soft as hell, not good decisively but a decent offensive/PP player. Sbisa is an AHL player to me. |

You mean we could just roll back the clock and put Younger Bieksa out there? And wait a tick... Even in his prime he made lots of mistakes. Lou paid for most of them. |
