With the Sedins getting old and the current defense lines the Canucks have, they will miss the 2015-2016 playoff.
MARK MY WORDS.
No playoff for you guys.

Not trying to be argumentative here; however, there is a huge rift between many of the players and DW.
A new coach hired by that GM doesn't make everything ok.
Time will tell if DeBoer can bridge and heal all of that, but I don't see it happening. - rugdnit
No problems, that's what a discussion board is for, to express your opinions. To me I just think the "rift" with Doug Wilson is somewhat over blown. In that he doesn't have daily interaction with the players during the year, the coach does.
Trust me, when you step on the ice you're not thinking "jeez I really don't like Doug", your concentrating on what you're doing. Just my opinion but I think a fresh approach for them will improve their mindset. |

It'll be interesting. They are very similar to the Canucks from a couple of years ago. The coach fell on the sword to give an aging core and suspect management one more kick at the can. To their credit, they did not go full Torts, but I like their old coach better than their new one.
If they don't make the playoffs they'll be in for a pretty active off season. |

As long as the President's Trophy is ours at the end of the season. Everything after that is gravy. |

Been there, done that...what we've never done in our history, besides winning the Stanley Cup lol, is draft 1st overall. |

Habs have their own issues you might wanna worry about...like which round you will probably choke in? If Weise/Malholtra/Kassian is the best they can do for the bottom 6 a world of hurt is coming dude.

No poop. We don't want them to make the playoffs. The Sedins will cost them a top 5 pick. Nice troll attempt though, go back to your parents basement and work out a new plan. |

I would worry more about their primary and secondary scoring before I worried about their bottom six..
Max Patch can't do it alone.. |

We had the 1st OA pick (traded for) for a minute before Burke pulled his magic in '99 to get the 2nd with our 3rd OA pick to draft the Sedins (if you want to get technical). Who went 1st OA that year? Patrik Stefan (who ended up being the 2nd biggest bust next to Alexandre Daigle and strangely enough became an underwear model in Sweden) |

I said we haven't drafted first overall, which we haven't, not we've never held the first overall pick - if you wanna get technical?

Oh come on, I'd like to try it just once...to see what it's like!! Maybe we can ask the Oilers how to throw a party for the whole thing? |

I think it requires ninjas and a lot of ball stuffing on JB's part for Buttman to draw our number in the lottery. |

That's two weeks in a row that I've been able to listen to the morning show and not feel like I need to take a shower afterwards. |

That feeling will end very soon.
I find Sekere's Blue Jays are Canada's team quite vomit inducing. I'm starting to listen to horrendous 80's music on the local radio stations as a pleasant alternative. |

The Kings, the Sharks and the Avalanche will all be better this year, the Canucks have a difficult road ahead of them in 2015/16. - LeftCoaster
I disagree. Kings played exactly to their potential last year, an Lucic doesn't make them any better. Avs will miss the playoffs once again, and Roy will be the first coach to be fired (I have heard that the players absolutely hate him). Dallas will likely improve. |

Jackson Whistle - never drafted despite good size and some decent numbers in the WHL?? His numbers are better than Braden Holtby....what gives? |

I can't stand listening to Sekeres. He sounds like his nose is plugged when he talks.
