I disagree with him about the Blue Jays, although I have been following them a bit closer, almost in spite of myself, but I don't mind Sekeres. I'll take him over the morning show's creepiness or listening to the late afternoon show talk about their diets.

I don't really watch baseball, but I turned on the end of the Jays game last night, just in time to watch their ninth-inning comeback win over Texas. Gotta admit, it was pretty good stuff. I will probably pay attention if they make the playoffs.

I was sitting beside a couple from Seattle. She asked how far away Toronto was by plane, I said 5 hours. She couldn't believe all these people had flown that far to watch their team play.

I was at a ball tournament in Ontario this weekend and only saw 3 Jays hats the whole weekend out of 8 teams. Saw far more Yankees, Reds, A's, Twins, Pirates etc.

It's only Toronto and transplants team for the most part.

As long as the President's Trophy is ours at the end of the season. Everything after that is gravy.
