I would not put money on it. Most Vegas odds sites seem to put NYR tied for third in likely hood with LA and ANA behind Tampa and Chicago. Which makes sense because most of the odds are done from the same offices in Vegas a New York where Casinos, bookies and lottery companies send employees from around the world to decide daily odds together. Its needless to say, one of the best jobs you can have. With that said it is odds and by definition a 10/1 odds is not amazing.
In the east I like NYR, Tampa, Montreal, Pitts and even Boston (if Rask turns around they are a contender even without Lucic and Hamilton). To say the Rangers will be top 2 is not a stretch but the odds aren't amazing. West I think is a little more wide open. Especially with the 3 on 3 regular season. Good regular season stats makes teams buyers and not sellers which can decide a cup. CHI, ANA, LA, STL and even COL/SJ could find their way into this mix. I am putting money on Calgary but I think they are a year away still.

Yea it's difficult to get that far especially 3 years in a row. The rangers are capable of it though and hopefully their experience helps carry them there. But yes it tough and takes luck sometimes...Rangers were 100 seconds away from being eliminated by the Caps in the 2nd round in 5 games.
