It's Toronto to start with, so definitely going to be over-hyped. And now that Stamkos is there sucking up and adding to the hype, it's only going to get worse.

I'm surprised this hasn't added fuel to the Stamkos to Leafs rumours.

I not much of a baseball fan, but I'm glad to see the Blue Jays doing so well. Lets see if they can continue or choke.

I hear ya. Not really missing much. All the coverage on sportsnet turns me off. Jays in 30, and the hour long sporsnet connected with about 1/3 of the show with the same clips and commetary on the game. And the reruns, back to back.

Than god for the pvr and ffwd button.

I guess if you actually watch all that crap, you end up watching anything interesting that ever happened in the game.

Saw him on there last night. first thing I thought was maybe there is a chance he goes to ufa and ends up in Toronto. If he doesn't get a cup with the Lightning, starting to doubt if he ever will. I guess he grew up drinking the kool-aid.

It is a lot of money, not sure if that would be overpaying or just the market?

Tampa/Stamkos will have to make a decision at or before tdl...

Imagine if the Leafs trade for him, will that speed up, set back or stall their rebuild?

Some good news in the new blog this morning—Jared McCann's in town, skating, and says he's going to do his best to crack the Canucks' lineup at training camp. (Never mind about his shoulder injury...)
