reinhart sucks!!!!

as islander fans we know. I saw him struggle in this playoff game. no way he could be decent this year.
just trust us

You're shot. You really are. Some serious reading comprehension problems keep losing your mind and spouting off over nothing. Every post from an isles fan has said he may develop into a good player hes just not there yet. Somehow you've twisted that into us panning the kid. Toughen up buttercup you need to grow some thicker skin or life is going to be real tough for you. No wonder why nobody posts on this thread anymore.

funny part is I know his game pretty well.
but neither am I a huge homer.

the islander fans trying to drive home that they won the trade before anyones even laced up the skates is just a wasted read.

im very confident reinhart will be a solid contributor for the oilers going forward.
and hearing about his failed playoff game sways nothing.
will griffin be an impact player this year?--well I don't think hes gonna be fed to the wolves regardless, so that's debateable. but he'll be a solid, safe option behind the nurses's, klefboms, Schultz's at some point

Nobody said we won the trade. You're delusional.

I have nothing against the Oilers. Love Hall. Like Eberle. Not sure about the Nuge's durability but he's good when healthy. I even think Yak will be a player if he has a coach that allows him to play his game and accepts that he's a puck wizard not a great backchecker. I like the Sekera signing. I have no reason to doubt that Nurse, Draisaitl and, obviously, McD will be players.

That said, Reinhart looks like a stiff and, unlike Tanner, I'll believe Talbot is for real (unlike Scrivens, Fasth, Bryz, Dubnyk) when I see it.

On balance, I'd be psyched as hell to be an Oiler fan right now.

Nobody on here has anything against the Oilers. I think a lot of Islander fans are quasi Oiler fans like myself. Unfortunately giving an opinion of a prospect most of us have seen quite a bit of is being misconstrued and twisted by a few as a knock on the Oilers. This thread was once a cool place to visit with some pretty knowledgeable fans not so much anymore.

I'm not sure why they're so intent on convincing us about reinhart.
These knowledgeable fans he speaks of know his game. And at the same time know he's probably not going to be a world beater this year.
But that certainly shouldn't suggest there's no chance he can't make a positive impact this year depending on the role he's put in. Which is essentially what they're trying to sell.
With the obvious inference that they won the trade because of how poorly he played with them.

What other point is there to argue it?
And neither did the blogger say he was a slam dunk. And neither did chiarelli say as such.

The funny part is they come to debate reinharts skillz and didn't like that they were disagreed with, and also didn't like getting called out on the inference.
They are welcome to post in their own threads if that's the case

First bold; nobody is trying to sell you anything

Second bold; nobody mentioned anything about winning the trade. This is the third time you've mentioned that. None of us have said that.

Third bold; Nobody came here to debate Reinhart's skills. Both of us have said he has the tools numerous times you just have an obvious comprehension problem.

In short both of us have said in every, single, one of our posts that Reinhart has the tools but just didn't put it together for us but he very well may with you guys. He's still young he's got time which we both also said numerous times but one of the many things you chose to ignore. Nobody not once mentioned anything about winning the trade or most of the garbage you have written. It's completely fabricated in your mind. You are a hypersensitive little person who is blowing up over nothing. Calling people idiots when not one post was derogatory in any way. All anyone has to do is read back to see that. Not one of our posts were antagonistic or baiting while literally every one of yours were.
