Go watch your Blue Jays
Vey ... Pretty obvious, unless Cassels or Sutter want to do the honours.

Vey at fourth line centre is fine if you are going for that top 7 pick. Eller is a very decent 3/4 centre moving Burrows also moves the contract and opens a spot for Grenier
- VANTEL

I don't think Vey would be that bad... It just seems like a lot of money to tie up on the 4th line if it turns out to be Prust-Eller-Dorsett.

I am not following you on a spot opening up for Grenier if you move Burrows. Wouldn't Eller get that spot?

Haha. Honestly I don't care about the Canucks, been a long time since I felt like this. Really don't care what happens this year, I don't expect much and will be happy if they lose a lot.

It's funny how people here keep talking about lineups, trades or whatever, I really don't (frank)ing care and don't know why any of you have so much invested in this current team. The future looks promising, but I really don't want this team to win much this year.

Higgins/ Kenins Horvat Grenier
Prust Eller Dorsett

The way I see it we need to trade Vey, admit the mistake. so Vey, Higgins for Eller, Weise.

We've all seen how effective Weise has been in Montreal... we need the speed...

That doesn't look too bad.

Vey, Kenins, and Grenier rotating in and out of the lineup, have to expect some injuries too.

I like watching the Canucks, but don't really want to watch them tank. I can understand Scooby wanting the high picks but I am trying to buy in to the JB plan, although I still question some of the decisions.

I care more about the jays, whitecaps and raptors at this point. Doesn't mean I like them more, just see them having a better chance to win a championship. Canucks are in a rebuild, we need to accept it and let them suck for a few years.

I don't mind the losing, but as some of the kids develop on the farm , you can start bringing in some mid 20s guys .

Bringing in Sutter killed it for me, don't get that trade or signing whatsoever.

Have to see how his next two years go. I personally hated the idea of slotting in Bonino as second line centre. It seems like most here did also , seeing they were putting an unready Horvat as a second line centre.

Every game I've seen Sutter play I liked his game. I can't say I feel the same about Bonino

Canucks didn't have a second line centre , nor did they have the assets or cap space to chase after a ROR or true second line centre. The only player of that ilk remotely close next year was Sutter. We gave up 2 player that we didn't want and a second for our second line centre and a third. I think we did better than most here know.

We have our buffer until Horvat McCann Cassels and Vey grow

Different players, different divisions, Bonino will do well in PITTS as a light weight. Sutter in the wild west... not sure. But I'm okay with the pedigree.

I found it good to just take time away from the blog. I read most of the blogs but I haven't commented for a while. Given me a new perspective, Outlook at what the team looks like. Also not arguing is quite nice haha. The team should be "different" next year, may be a good thing or a bad. Either way it's still change from the same crap they have been icing for years.

The points comparison between the two is a joke. This guy has a solid hockey pedigree. Playing in his back yard, he will bring it.

I was reading Eks blog and seen everyone laughing. I have one question? Who is our 4 th line centre.

Burrows Subban for Eller and a 3 Rd

- VANTEL

Seems like a Benning trade. Maybe switch the 3rd to a 4th.

Well at least you are keeping it light.

CubanB and Vant are sounding like we are doomed.

Of the players that left, what is our biggest loss? Kassian was always in and out of the lineup. Richardson missed almost half the season. Matthias had career best point production but was still invisible at times. Bieksa missed time due to injury, and we survived and JB was able to move his ntc... Lack is labeled as a headcase career backup goalie by some on here, I liked him, but can live with him gone.

We got some change, never gonna be enough or what everyone wants...

I liked the flashes that Matthias showed, but WD wasn't a fan, he was given limited opportunity and moved on, too bad we couldn't have turned him into a pick along the way.

Looking forward to a team that will play with more energy and confidence with a bit more grit in the lineup. Might not be as good regular season, but may be better in the playoffs.

I am just peeved we don't have any top players in regards to ea's nhl16.

Doubt I watch all 82 games this year either. Benning has killed some of my hope for this team, his overpayments scare me more than they excite me. Even if they do unintentionally tank. An unintentional tank is as low as it gets, right after constantly finishing in no-man's land.
