A lot of people wonder if he will take too many hits and get injured. With these kinds of qb's it generally doesn't take long to see the guys that know how to scramble (Wilson, Kapernick, etc) and those that don't (EJ). I think Taylor gets it.

Since the subject has come up I pose a question.

Is there a valid reason to not root for the hometown team? I will admit the Sabres are the only local team I root for. When it comes to baseball as long as it isn't the Red Sox I couldn't care less. Basketball... don't care, College football I root for Michigan (Grandfathers Alma Mater and we used to watch games all the time as a kid) NFL is Saints (and i was a fan long before the Drew Brees days. And NHL is Sabres.

Agreed. I don't know why that is a problem to have. Is it because the team didn't win the Cup? There is only one team that wins it all, and rarely is it the team that wins the Presidents trophy.

It's also like saying it's not worth putting up the Eastern/Western Conference champion banner if you do not win the Cup.

I think it's worth being displayed. It's a great feat.

I have never lived in Buffalo but I am extremely loyal to the Sabres and Bills. All the rest of the teams in both sports can piss off. Being originally from Toronto area, I also like the Jays. I could care less about basketball. Would rather watch paint dry.....

P.S. I bought a #3 Bills shirt when he was the next coming of J.C. himself. Thus I have to support EJ for QB. I can't afford to buy another Bills jersey! At the very least, don't cut EJ!
