Justin Williams would have been a nice pick up. I'm ok with Ennis there, maybe Girgs but I prefer Reinhart at C. - mhp
Inevitably I think O'Reilly ends up there as well. As much as I'd like to see Girgs in the top 6, the fact that he's going to get pushed to the 3rd line says a lot about our depth overall. It's a good problem to have. Though it's all dependent on guys working out the way we hope they will. |

None of those are really top line options though right? That's what has me worried. Obviously less so than the defence but still. - Sabresfan-365
Not really sure what top line RW they could get. Maybe they stick to the plan with Ennis at RW.
Not many great options next year at RW looking at the UFA's. Vrbata, Eriksson, Purcell, Okposo. That's about it. |

Wouldn't ROR play LW? |

I think technically Girgs does as well, so if you can move him, why can't you move O'Reilly? Ennis just started playing RW as well. He used to play LW before they moved him to C and then shifted him to wing again.
The more versatile these guys are, the better playing time they'll get. |

This years draft could give them one. But I always figured that at some point they'd have to dip into the FA pool to get someone to finally have all the pieces. |

Had fingers and scirochi/lime wings from Griffon Gastropub last night. Having the leftovers for lunch today. Just opened one on transit and klein rd. - cabin
Oh yeah.. I live around the corner from it. I've taken on about half the menu so far. Try the PBJ burger. It's way.. way better than it sounds. |

I thought ROR played LW in Colorado, that's why I was wondering.
You're right, the versatility of guys like Ennis and Girgs is a good thing. Coaches will love that. It also gives them options on the PP. |

I'll let Bylsma and Murray figure it out. That's what they get paid the big bucks for. |

We went there for lunch at work last week. Probably sounds crazy, but I got the Lobster Crab Cake Cobb Salad. It jumped out at me on the menu. It was delicious. You know a place has a good menu when even the salads grab your attention. |

They're very eccentric over there. Great food no matter what ethnicity you're picking from. If I recall you're a beer fan as well. They have some bad ass sour beers there, if you're into that kinda thing. |

Can't say I've ever had one, or not to my knowledge at least. I'm not super into the craft beer thing, but I do like to try some here and there. Has to jump out at me though. I've gotten a bit more adventurous more recently though.

Their sours are mediocre. They do have sip of sunshine on tap right now though. I'm a little biased though since I pretty much can get any beer in country at request within a week or two.

Konecny would have been a nice option to have in the pipeline. I guess he was great in Philly prospect camp.
I still hate the Lehner trade |

Me too but I feel like they were going to use that pick on a goalie either way. |

Looks that way to me, invest a 1st rounder in a high risk goalie without putting together a competent defence?
Bylsma hiring just felt like one big overreaction to missing out on Babcock. - Sabresfan-365
Or Perhaps GMTM knows the goalie better than any of us (he drafted him) and Bylsma is a damn good coach, irrelevant if we didn't get Babcock?? |

He also drafted Jared Cowen. It's his guy I get that and it's probably why he was ok giving up a first for him but that doesn't automatically mean it's a good move. |

I like this a lot. Lines 1 and 2 both have skill and grit and line 3 is the perfect veteran line. Now, if Reinhart has a great camp that creates a good problem on how to utilize him?? Larsson too?? Might see him Larsson on line 3, legwand line 4??
Say what you will, but this is night and day compared to last year. |

32 in november. Can't see him being in the top 6 when this team is competing for a cup. |
