Edmonton are a joke, you have a couple good players a potential All Star and some prospects from ten years of sucking. Cannot wait for Prust to take out Hall.
- Leo_Union

I don't think Prust can catch him

I'll enjoy seeing him light it up with McDavid since I have him in our hockey pool

I was impressed with your diplomacy, pointing the conversation in a more positive direction- getting it back on track..

At the concert last night it was entertaining. Toronto band was no where near as skilled as the Headpins musically. Boy Holly Wood can still hit the upper register. The two female singers can stll belt it out. The band itself sounded like a house band. The once stunning Miss Wood was showing her years ( 62) and looked like she had attended a number of parties in her life. As I said though she can still bring it vocally.

Headpins wow. Can still bring it hard. Darby Mills looked stunning and her voice still sounds like she 30. She still looks hot hot hot even though there may be a few more wrinkles. Loved the stories in between songs about how they formed.

They were mostly the Chilliwack band and the night before they were to sign a record contract the manager mysteriously died , so they split the money, didn't have any gigs , so they scooped the drummer from Loverboy and formed Headpins. Too Loud McLeod dies of cancer and they find this young talented lead guitarist , and voila.

The crowd was around 60 years old dressed up like they were twenty . Pounding back the booze like they were 15 , girls kissing girls, girls with way too much make up , short skirts and spare tires. Men balding now weighing 250 pounds , fist pumping sticking their tongues out like Gene Simmonds and air guitaring. All in all it was a blast.

During the Headpin show we turned around and beside my girlfriend Holly Wood and the other Singer were standing right behind us for about two minutes enjoying the concert.

Hate their rating system. In NBA/Madden the difference between a star and a scrub is more than 10-15 overall as it should be.

Nice...great to hear you had a good time.

As per our discussion yesterday I felt the need to spin some vinyl of the Headpins and Toronto...

HB friends,

Going to LA on business in October, and, turns out- Canucks are playing the Kings the night I'm there, which is an easy sell for me.
That particular building, I'd feel better kicking it with some like minded fans. I've seen something before (?) that there are groups of people who coordinate trips and sit together, but I don't know if that's orchestrated by twitter/FB page, etc. Any info?

I think your right, but on the RW theres burrows, vrbata, hansen, dorsett. dont know if he could keep a permanent roster spot till after TDL, unless of course injuries

He shoots left so I could see him playing 2LW but if not Burrows plays both sides .

We have a well stocked bar. Car camping comes with many comforts including a bar for all options, the hangover potential is alarming.
On my second Bailey's & coffee accompanied by a fat jazz cigarette.

I think the road trip organized by the team usually runs in the spring.

I'd think it'd be worth a shot to reach out on FB, Twitter or maybe even the discussion boards on Canucks.com to see if you can find other fans who will be at the game.

Have fun!

I took an edible last night, it's been 12 year since I've done that. I'm way to old for that again. 7 hr roller coaster ride and I lost a very good meal. I'll stick to smoking.

A very fine line on taking too much. Stick to mushrooms when eating.

Virtanen shoots right.

Burrows shoots left and could play LW on 2nd or 3rd line and let Vrbata play with twins.

Sedin Sedin Vrbata
Baerstchi Sutter Virtanen
Burrows Horvat Hansen
Prust Vey Dorsett
