I'm having a rather turd-y day today.

ROR isnt fast if you have that impression of him, and he doesnt do a lot of zone entries. His skill set is turning pucks over in the neutral or defensive zone and finding his wingers with speed.

I haven't spent a lot of time watching him, but for some reason, was under the impression that he was above average in speed. May be im thinking Kane/Eichel/Ennis as a speed line. But I couldn't imagine putting Eichel in first line center duties right out of the box. Unless we had some 1A/1B thing going on...ROR taking more defensive end duties.

He has been taking skills and skating lessons by MFE all summer, just hand us the cup

Hes improved it over the years, but his biggest flaw has and will always be his speed and skating ability. Very average, but hes not a boat anchor out there compared to some guys around the league.

The good thing is that he never takes stupid penalties to kill a play, so you wont ever have to worry about that.

Very rarely does he get dragged offside, always smart and aware of who has the puck.
