And I think your right, unless we get some bad injuries we will be a bubble team. The reason I have us missing playoffs is because come TDL we will be outside looking in. Benning doesn't want to give up our future so we will not be trading young good assets to try and make the playoffs knowing we likely won't make a big splash in it. So i think he will trade Vrabata and Hamhuis for picks if they will net a 1st each to build a better future, rather than waste the present and future on keeping a team that may or may not make the playoffs.

Here I have been female doging for months that JB isn't doing enough to tank (thinking they will make the playoffs) and most of you have the canucks getting a good pick next draft.

I'm feeling much better about this coming season.

I think there is a good chance we make the playoffs if no major injuries but I doubt that happens.
We will just miss the cut and get a better pick but still be in the 10-14 is my guess.

Has Dallas improved that much? Goaltending is blah (Neimi?) Klingberg is awesome but the rest of the D? Is Sharp going to be a big factor?

Seguin would have won the scoring title had he not had Kulikov low bridge his knee. Seguin and Benn COULD be 1/2 in scoring this year if they both are healthy. Add in Sharp+Daley+health Nischuskin (sp?) and they could be pretty deadly.

Got the Kane factor happening for the Hawks I see. Like the Stars as well do ya?

Hawks do this after winning a cup each time ...they get rid of their cap issues and do a semi start over with their core ...I just think they have lost too much and with all the Kane bs they won't be a top team in the west

Look at the stars top 9 forwards and top 4 D ... Plus having a 1a 1b in net ...they should be a playoff team

Just a guess. Like everyone else. I have a feeling Dallas is getting their act together, will be more solid in goal, and have good young players coming up.

Bonino, Kassian, Bieksa, Matthias, Richardson scored 55 goals.

Baertschi, Vey, Horvat scored 25 but I think they will be good for 40 goals this year.
Sutter I expect to get around 15 so I think that will more or less be the same as far as goals.

D shouldn't be worse but like many have said it will really depend on whether Miller can :
A) be healthy
B) be better
C) get decent support from Markstrom

Edit. pretty bad at math apparently as I am still short 25 goals to make up last years totals.....
