I see him just like Seth Jones. Your team will be exciting to watch in the next few years. Oiler fans should be very excited.
I seen your new arena last week. Coming along nicely - VANTEL
ive only seen a few pics. looks pretty crazy though.
doubt ill get to many games there though. no plans to move back anytime soon.

I have lots of family there so I go back once a year. I like Edmonton. I go in winter usually to get my week of snow |

In a vacuum I'd probably agree but as a Canucks fan I can't help but envy other teams young d prospects seeing as we have so few of them. - CubanBuffet
but you have a solid if not spectacular actual NHL group now.
we finally have nhl level depth for the first time in ages, but the actual level of skill is low. and even those skill players are young/ inexperienced/have some holes etc.
it could be adequate if a few things go right. but its gonna be tough for them this season.
I also think many people have downplayed the bartkowski signing abit too much.
really talented player |

his development into what we hope is possibly the most important in the entire organization. including mcdavid.
I think going forward, nurse, connor and hall are the 3 cornerstones of the organization.
love the nuge-but draisaitls size and different style of game than the other skilled kids might make nuge expendable long term.
assuming everything works out....... - HB77
You're probably right, but I wouldn't write off RNH yet. A Henrik Sedin calibre playmaker is pretty valuable. |

I hope that there's as many players on the Oilers willing to stick up for McDavid as there is on their young stars team. |

oh for sure.
and I aint writing him off at all. I think he can be a true star 1c. im a huge fan.
I just meant with mcdavids size and speed game, along with the some of the other smaller skilled forwards; draisaitls massive frame and slow the game down style could be a better compliment at 2c behind connor long term.
but if things don't work out that way, stoked to have nuge just coming into his own now. and maybe management doesn't see it my way and wants that pure skill in nuge around for the long haul. plus, hes a quality two way guy and a seems like hes got a pretty solid character too |

this Virtanen, Moroz, Nurse, Chase love square is pretty funny
Virtanen's good at creating his own offence, but not great at setting up teammates. A lot of 1 man rushes |

Hmmm ... really like Virtanen's game ... but anyone else notice his knack of getting the linesmen between him and his opponent while he is trash talking?
We've seen more than our fair share of that in the Cooke years.

Too many people at a Whistler. It's like a vertical Metrotown. I'll head to the interior to get my skiing fix. |

Those kind of goals won't happen in the NHL. We have Sbisa and Weber , they won't be able to pull that sort of stuff |

lineups do suck.
1. buy a sled
2. stick to the backcountry
quality of snow in the interior is better no doubt. but the quality of terrain in the whistler backcountry is the best in the world imo |

I think that's more the linesman getting involved before anything starts than JV hiding. I still don't see JV making the team this year, Gaunce looks more NHL ready than JV does at this point. But we'll see when main camp opens up. |
