lineups do suck.
1. buy a sled
2. stick to the backcountry
quality of snow in the interior is better no doubt. but the quality of terrain in the whistler backcountry is the best in the world imo - HB77
My father in law, who's as conservative as anyone I've met and who thinks that global warming is a left wing conspiracy, is thinking of unloading his Whistler cabin before global warming wrecks Whistler.
Edit: as far as backcountry, Whistlers is never ending, but Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, Red, even Sunpeaks have easily accessible untracked backcountry, you can spend the day there without seeing another person and never riding the same line. |

You mean their farm team selling out? I don't recall them selling out after the first two weeks of the season |

Yeah but no conversion and it took them the whole game, so basically they suck. |

oh for sure.
and I aint writing him off at all. I think he can be a true star 1c. im a huge fan.
I just meant with mcdavids size and speed game, along with the some of the other smaller skilled forwards; draisaitls massive frame and slow the game down style could be a better compliment at 2c behind connor long term.
but if things don't work out that way, stoked to have nuge just coming into his own now. and maybe management doesn't see it my way and wants that pure skill in nuge around for the long haul. plus, hes a quality two way guy and a seems like hes got a pretty solid character too - HB77
I totally agree and think that if edmonton sold high on RNH and low on Yak they could get the pieces to not just make the playoffs but make some noise in the playoffs.
RNH for Kane
Yak for Hamhuis and a 2nd because. ..Benning
Bang playoff team |

is this with salary cap turned off?
and Hamuis is not the missing piece on the backend |

I thought it was pretty embarrassing how bad the canucks prospects looked.
Virtanen had flashes but his getting involved in every single scrum is getting pretty annoying.
Subban was the only player that looked good
The rest of the defense were straight garbage. |

Your not close to the cap now are you.
Ok ok. .. I was kidding.
Sbisa then?
Edit. Yak doesn't have much more value then that. |

trade yak for sbisa.
that's just what the oilers need to get better.
and no, a thrown in piece doesn't change anything |

so and 18 year old and a 19 year old are our 1-2 centers?
again, no.
which kane?
evander kane is not what we need. pat kane costs too much. and as good as he is, we really don't need need more small skilled wingers. |

They looked bad and the D looked worse. And I don't disagree about Virtanen. I like his getting involved but at a certain point it just becomes a waste of energy. But that's his ticket onto the team. |

Oh yeah, Gaunce was solid, forgot about him as he was in on both goals
Really expected more from Shinkaruk after a year in the AHL
Hopefully this is just one game.
This team needs a Blue-Chip D-man badly

In a year or two RNH will be holding Dre back from being the 2nd line centre. Dre, I belive, is better suited to that role then RNH. And while RNH will be a 1st line centre he's not gonna be better then Mcdavid. If you wait until you have to trade him you'll get less return then if you trade him now.
Alright I'll try again, much add I'd love to see him on the nucks that ain't happening. So RNH to Nashville for Shea Weber. Maybe I'd you throw in Yak you could get them to eat a million in salary and throw in a 2nd round pick.
This would not just solve Edmontons free agent problem but give them a tough as nails team that would push for the cup for the next 10 years.
Nashville would get a pair of high end Youngs forwards to boost their pence.
I think this would be great for both teams by evening or their respective rosters. It would be horrible for the canucks because edmonton would leapfrog them in the standings and Nashville would prevent the crossover.

Just stop, wait tell the oilers play 40 games this season to see what they have before they even think about trading for anyone. lol
