Your gut feeling is correct. All my co-workers and buddies were super humble and self deprecating regarding the Oilers before this year and now they have all become insufferable chest beaters since the Oilers entered the playoff picture again.

Every time I bring up a potential match up with the Flames they get eerily quiet.

I smell fear.

I was out when the lottery was going on. I checked my phone probably 30 minutes after it happened and saw the Leafs won the lottery and I had to double check because I didn't believe it. I let out an audible "holy (frank)".
