Sabres have to.be disappointed in 5,500 fans on Saturday, 3,000 yesterday. I came in from CT with family for the Saturday game and the bills game and it was great. What's the theory behind the low numbers at only $10/ticket? The way the prospect camp sold out, I would have thought attendance would have been much higher

Maybe a little. Most cities don't even have the support to host such a tournament let alone charge for it. I think the fact that most people (like me) went to the game over the summer probably lessened the turnout.

There was also a lot going on this past weekend: Music is Art, where the Goo Goo Dolls played for free; Edgefest, which had a pretty big lineup this year; and the Bills game. Lewiston also had its Peach Festival. The Taste of East Aurora is usually a pretty big draw for the people that live in that area as well. I doubt the Sabres expected that big of a crowd.

Of course, as I mention this, I should point out that I went to none of the above.

A while ago, I had a pair of tickets to a Goo Goo Dolls concert and made the mistake of leaving them out on the dash of my car in my parking garage. Somebody broke in to the car, and left me two more pair.
