My drunk uncle wouldn't even take them. And he's not a far cry from the stadium snd loves the Flyers. Probably the reason for at least 10% of his drinking.
Probably the price (20$ a ticket) and seats. I have good seats. Lol.
Is it bad I've already sold all pre season and 5 regular season games and haven't made it past October reviewing my schedule? - Tfaehner
I gave away my preseason tickets. I didn't think they had any value at all |

I think that MDZ could end up with a huge year, the guy had double digit goals last year without playing 82 games or much PP1 time. I liked his compete level in the D-zone as well, I realize he is not a shutdown defender but I didn't think he was a liability in our end. If he can pick his spots on when to join the rush I could see him cracking 50 points and really contributing to this team, maybe even dethroing Streit from PP1 at some point. - ClaudeFather
He was a highly touted prospect. Too many teams gave up on him early. The Timmonen injury had him fall into our laps. Is he finally the player people thought he could be ? Maybe. |

I see big years for MDZ and Streit. If we're out of it at the deadline look for Hextall to cash in big on these guys. - hereticpride
If MDZ is capable of replacing Streit, at the deadline we could see a nice return for him. And if Ghost is ready to step in and play later in the season even more reason to do so. |

MDZ is a more "on the rush" type of offensive possession player. On the PP, in a more stationary mode, Streit is the better player. His positioning is better and he has a better ability to get his shot through on the PP. If MDZ can improve in those 2 areas on the PP, I agree. Otherwise, even though they're both "offensive defenseman" they have differences in their strengths and weaknesses. |

Ha! I mean, can you imagine? The Flyers go into a losing streak, and Sam Gagner sticks his hand in the air and says, "Well, you know, this is the way we used to do it in Edmonton."
I mean, seriously. The Flyers are a team that really does look like it has a nice future in front of it. The players who are currently on the roster would be well-served in making sure they are focused on team results and winning as many hockey games as possible, because there are young guys coming

I was expecting you to go another direction when I read "Sam Gagner sticks his hand." But yes, aside from a few players, no one should feel safe. |

Yes and he works best with space. I think he's a candidate to play with G and Jake in 3 on 3 overtime for those reasons |

With those 3 on the ice, I assume that the team that wins the faceoff wins the game in about 30 seconds. |

No one is saying it's an option. Bill made a comment that he'd have to basically play horribly to not have a spot. You could say that about any player. I think people are reading too much into that comment. - funmaster18

HAHA! I really wanted the Flyers to hire Babcock. You know when he walks into a room he commands respect. It didn't really seem like the Flyers were remotely interested in Babcock, which puzzles me. |

I don't love the gimmicks -- I was totally fine with ties, TBH -- but I will admit that 3-on-3 might be fun to watch |

I think 3 on 3 will be fun as well. Way better than shootouts. Hopefully, there will be almost no shootouts now. Too bad for Oshie. |

There was no bulletproof hire, I think, because Babcock -- I just don't know that the Flyers had the kinds of pieces that made sense for him. To me, he needed to what he did: Go to a team that was rock-bottom, or to a team that is completely ready to win, like a St. Louis
I really am fine with someone like Hakstol coming in. If he can just teach some of these guys just a little bit more about how to maximize their abilities, you know?
Luke Schenn doesn't have to be a lost cause. He should be better than he is, right? Some of that is on him, sure. But maybe Schenn can be taught a bit more and be more effective
Maybe that's blind optimism. But I'd rather they have gone with a coach who should be able to teach, as opposed to a lifer who isn't as willing to work with young players |

Luke Schenn has shown in the past that he can be a really, really good player. He was arguably their best player in 12/13 (tallest midget argument, maybe?) but he's had major struggles with consistency. If he can be that player again on a consistent basis, then he'd be a very good 2nd pair shutdown player. |

I'm at the end where they shoot once as well.
I've split most of my tickets up with the people I have been splitting with for 5 or so years, but I haven't tried to sell any of the games I've kept yet.
These past couple of years, they've gotten off to slow starts and it makes selling tickets kinda difficult, because casual fans mentally write the team off if you aren't talking about them as a contender in October/November.
If they start off well, I'll start getting the "do you have any Flyers tickets for sale" messages again. Haven't gotten those since the season they had Jagr. |

Exactly -- that player is in there. We all saw it. That player is in there, somewhere
Now I don't know how to get that out of him. I have no idea why he has not replicated that. But if Hakstol can somehow do that, the Flyers would have a very interesting asset in moving forward, and I would love to see that happen |
