Avs fans always assumed Marc Staal at 5.7m was a good precedent for him. My guess its 6 years at 6.2m just since hes the Avs heart and soul Dman. Give him a little extra cash

Agreed 100% Larsson could be our Dan Paille type.. 4th liner that is a top line Pker and can contribute offensively. Also sneak up a line or two when in a pinch

No McLeod and Iginla have the As, but hes one of the leaders for sure. Hate that McLeod has an A, fans wnat to give it to EJ instead.

Roy loves him, he apparently is a good locker room guy. I actually know him, went to highschool with Cody. Good guy, would have never thought he would ever make the NHL, my Avs, and be a A one day. Crazy work ethic from him.

Teams need to learn to cut the cord sooner with these "foot soldiers". Look at boston, they locked them up for way too long for too much money, paying the price of being in cap hell

now...but they had Paille (1.1m), Campbell (1.6m), Kelly (3m), Peverly (3.25m) all locked up long term immediately after the cup win. Thats a lot of bottom 6 guys locked up long term getting into their 30s already.
