After three games he has performed better than any PTO there and that is all we have to go on. As the pre season goes on that may change but as of right now, he is better.

Now here is a question for everyone, hypothetically, if Nylanders play forces a trade of Bozak because of it, how would you feel about it?

- LeafMan

Happy. Nylander looks to be a great pick. He has looked great in the games but the QoC is lower.

5 prospects for Grabner lol ....Islanders couldn't wait to sign off on that one
- Greene19

Well well well......troll season just wouldn't be the same without certain people, would it? Speaking of annoying Hab fans, where's that Glak character these days?

I still wouldn't have Nylander on the Leafs. We've got to do this the right way once and for all. We gotta stop this (frank)ing around. I want them to be TOO patient with the prospects

i'd be pissed

Nylander belongs on the Marlies learnign his trade

dont subject him to the poop show that will be the leafs this year.. no high end prospect should be anywhere near that.

Better send Rielly down.

close... but my guess is Polak goes to the Penguins at the deadline - who will need capable d-men going into playoffs.

Could be right, but that was more of an example than a prediction.

That's actually the only part that worries me. Beckham Jr. Is head and shoulders better and faster than any individual safety or corner the Skins have. Will be interesting to see who they double up on him with. I think the Skins running game will eat up the Giants d-line though.
- Phenom

me too.. i think it will be close but i gave the nod to the skins.

i think indy is in a bad place again.. i picked the titans.. long shot i know.. but the colts top 3 cornerbacks are all hurt.. and they dont seem to be on the same page offensively yet.

its my upset of the week

Probably almost as fast as Glen Sather was to sign off on Gomez for McDonagh, and Slats is a slow mother(frank)er.

I thought about that too, but I'm scared. They'll wake up eventually. Too talented not too.

What is it about the idea of being patient and not subjecting any of our recently aquired youth to the poop show of the Leafs that pisses you off? Do you think there is harm in being patient?

I once drove probably the nicest looking Topaz in the T dot. Yeah I know, not saying much, but when you're an 18 year old kid driving your first car, you do what you can to mod it up a little.

there's not harm in being patient, no.

Likely Nylander doesn't make the team, but that's due to contracts and Babcock saying ties go to the vets

But watch the games he has played, he's been at least one of the 6 best forwards out there. I'd say much higher.

This is where the balance is.

You guys think that some magical, mystical change is going to happen from them spending more time in the AHL. But if he's better than the majority of the current roster then he should play on the team.

This long-term development model is fantastic for guys like Gauthier, Brown, Timashov, etc. or guys who have really high upside but need serious development time to realize it.

Not for a guy outplaying 90% of his peers in training camp.

that's my take on it anyway
