Why? Talbot is a product of his system, played behind one of if not the best 6 deep defensive units, and is on an expiring contract which at the conclusion he will be an UFA.

Lehner was 2nd on my list, behind Gibson, and it doesn't look like there was a secernio where Gibson was going to be traded.

I think people have a hate for this move just for the fact the trade was with Ottawa, and Murray came from Ottawa. Most Sens fans didn't want to see Lehner go.
