The Defense last night played like they looked on paper. Thoughts:
Gorges: was alright but he does put himself in tons of situations to get crushed. Should be a fine 4-6 guy.
Guhle: Looked alright with the puck little lost without it. Wouldn't mind giving him his 9 and letting him stay up and practice/healthy scratch it. He's not nhl ready but would benefit from practicing an watching before heading back.
Colaicovo & Donovan: Looked very rusty. I know it's one preseason game but McCabe should have a real shot at the last pairing with Pysyk.
E-Rod could be that diamond in the rough. Works his tail off.
Johan should have the edge over David Legsgone

"Good" pretty much means that you are on the ice for far more shots for than shots against.
"Bad" means the opposite.
"Dull" means that when you're on the ice, your team never shoots, nor gets shot against. In other words, nothing happens, good or bad.
"Fun" means that when you are on the ice, your team has a lot of shots for and shots against. It's basically either run-and-gun or a cluster(frank). - buffalofan19

Those goals songs are brutal who the hell chose that - gerbe75pts
According to Sabres.com, four of them came from choices from the Entercom stations (Kiss, 107.7, Star, WGR), and the other four were put forth by the Sabres players or front office.

Well, the players picked one side of the bracket and the other is by the Entercom stations. Based on that, I'd say the left side is the players and the right Entercom. I like the left better than the right.

I know Jeremy White picked Swords of a Thousand Men. He did his own breakdown of the songs on the WGR website. I actually have no problem with folk songs, but not as a goal song.
The one thing I will agree with him on, though: Anything but Pitbull

I think they're mixed. There's no way any of the songs on the right came from 107.7. In fact, the only one I can imagine from that genre of a station is the Gaslight Anthem one.

The two that I don't completely hate are Howl and Coming for You. Both would work without being completely obnoxious.
