You have to think Kane hates this even though it solves a lot of problems for him. He can't prove conclusively that he's innocent since the evidence was tampered with. He'll always have the cloud hanging over him.

My Cousin is real good friends with Toews (played in North Dakota with him) and Toews has mentioned on many occasions that Kane is a clown. Great hockey player but a total douchebag. Having said that however it's easier to play the innocent card here as the vast majority of the these cases are money grabs by the accuser and just looking for a long-term meal ticket. Still, I doubt we will ever know what truly happened. There is always the possibility that Kane is guilty of course but considering how many loopholes there are in the law regarding these cases it won't be a shock if it all get brushed under the table.
