Emelin's hit on the Toronto prospect (Leivo I believe....not important) was a thing of beauty!! He's still don't know what city he is in I bet lol

I actually forgot we didn't trade Raymond ... really should have, but nooo, they thought they'd make the playoffs mighta got this rebuild started a year earlier if Raymond wasn't so good

Hard to say.

He looked pretty decent 5-on-5 against the Penguins monster line with Faulk, but Haydn Fleury looked real good in his pre-season game too.

Distinct chance that Fleury makes the team and Hanifin doesn't, but more likely Hanifin pairs with Wisniewski and Fleury goes back to Junior.

Knees are (frank)ed. Anyone wear a knee brace for sports? Some look like they should be on the set of RoboCop; no idea what the deal is with them.
- gravyface

My son tore his ACL and meniscus playing hockey and had corrective surgery. He now wears a knee brace when playing sports. He doesn't complain about the fit or feel of the brace. I suggest getting a prescription for brace from your doctor and seeing someone at a Sports Medicine centre.

i expect him in the NHL

I felt he was the only NHL ready player not named McDavid or Eichel in this draft

Strome and Marner will be OHL this year is my guess.. however there is murmurs that Strome might be in the Yotes lineup opening night

what a kick in the balls that would be to Marner.. all of the top 5 make the NHL opening night and he gets shipped back to London LOL

Initial thought was that he was, but dunno.

Got 3 shots, 2 takeaways, 2 blocked shots, an assist, and was a -1. Played 23 minutes, at least half of which was vs. Crosby-Kessel

I think Strome probably makes it, but only because the Yotes have almost zero depth at centre.

Marner probably best served in OHL anyway. No need to be around the stink that will be the Leafs this year.
