its not about being right dude, as i said, hes looked great so far, but now the lineups are going to be more pro like. the direct quote from the coach only says nylander has to do a lot to convince him. Fact is hes still here, in camp. nothing has been decided.

that contract will take him into his mid to late 30s

by that time he will have slowed down and you will be paying him a fortune for what he used to be

I agree with this in principle... but I would like to see guys like Leivo (even though I know he's a previous regime prospect) playing in the NHL rather than AHL. I'd rather see him than Arcobello or Spalling for example.

And the Marlies definitely need a couple of heavyweights on the roster... to ensure that they don't go "run" by other teams.

I still think the Oil should trade Leon to the Leafs because they were Richards and didn't let him play in the World Juniors.

that's not a worry... by that time the Rangers and Kings will suck... and they'll pick up old guys just like they always have.... besides by that time Stamkos would have won his cup or not... and will be looking to map out his retirement - which will likely be a in a warm weather location.

i think all of us need to let go of the burke nonis era prospects

what they looked for in a player is nothing like what the current group seems to like

i expect to see a lot of prospect movement after this camp.. for other prospects / picks, etc as the current group begins their work at molding the leafs to suit their vision

after this camp.. thats when the fun will start
