Kessel was much better than he got credit for. I read an interview with the twins last week on sportsnet and they said they don't skate at all in the summer. When Phil said the same thing the media in Toronto dragged him through the mud.

I would bet on the Pens winning the Cup before I'd bet on Kessel winning the Art Ross, but the Kessel bet is a risky one that could totally happen and pay off huge. But I still think most likely even if Kessel has a huge year, Crosby will still get more points than him. They might end up 1 and 2 in scoring, I'd take a flyer on that happening.

Most reasonable people. I remember one Pens fan was trolling on the Leafs thread about Kessel while he was a Leaf, saying no team with Kessel would win a Cup because he's so whatever...this was shortly before he got traded to Pitt lol....

Agreed, but when he was a Leaf you had enough people saying they wouldn't even take him for no assets at that cap hit because he's such a cancer and one dimensional...now that he's on the Pens the tone has changed a bit on Kessel, his appraisal has definitely gone up on hockeybuzz.
