If McCabe and Guhle impress as they have in camp thus far, does that mean Carlo and Weber could be in trouble? It could be that McCabe makes it and they waive Carlo. They also could give Guhle his 9 games while Weber sees the PB.

Kaleta got injured and was day to day. I would think Ellis and others will be sent down next week.

Maybe they move Gorges to the 3rd pairing and have McCabe pair up with Franson on the second pair. Or pair up Pysyk with Franson and McCabe and Gorges. At some point this season guys like Gorges and Bogo will get hurt. I'd rather waive Carlo, get him to Rochester and give McCabe and Guhle the opportunity. It would seem we have some veteran depth on D, which isn't a bad thing.

Maybe that's part of why the lawyer dropped her. She forged the initials? Because during the presser the lawyer said the bag had initials of everyone who handled it; including the nurses who administered the SAE. It's confusing, but that's what happens when there's rampant speculation and no actual official news other than "There's an investigation into an incident that occurred at Kane's house" They wouldn't even admit there was an investigation into Kane himself just an incident at his house.

Anywho. At least the Sabres are actually getting a bunch of SOG. I don't care if they're all from the outside. They were dead last in shots for and shots against last year. We were 5 shots per game worse at -11.4 in differential than the next closest team(NJ). And so far this preseason they're +5 per game. So that's something at least.

Maybe I'm wrong, but my understanding was the mother was given the bag at the hospital so she had something in which to put the article of clothing the daughter changed out of before going to the hospital. They wanted her shirt she wore at the time of the incident as evidence.
So I just assumed the labeling and initials were put on the bag prior to giving the bag to the mother so that is would be properly associated with the Rape Kit box that stores the other evidence.
Then the mother never brought the clothing and bag back to police..so she retained possession of it empty ... And then devised the fraudulent ploy of claiming it was dropped off by someone else at her home as a way to discredit the whole of the Rape Kit evidence that wouldn't support her claim of rape...probably when it was know that her case was drying up as a result of no DNA from PK in the "paint" (sweet zone).
By taking this approach, the result would be that the whole RapeKit evidence would not be admitted as evidence...leaving it as his word against her's.
Somebody developed the scheme when they learned no PK DNA was found in the "paint" area of her body...causing reasonable doubt to exist.

She was given the bag to put the top in because she changed it before she went to the hospital. The police came to her home to collect the bag and removed the top and put it in their own evidence bag and left the other bag at the house. How could the mother think she would get away with this? Has anyone seen Linus Ullmark's interview on Sabres.com? The guy is quite the character. I really hope that he can become a reliable starter in a couple years, he'd be a good locker room guy. He's seems really upbeat, positive, and seemed to talk a lot. Kinda reminded me of a Swedish Marty Biron.
