I just pray the man gets to call some exciting, meaningful games before his tenure is up. - Buffalo--Sabres
It's interesting to me that he decided this isn't his final year. Back when it was announced it was going to be his final year it seemed like he was at peace with the decision.
I'm not complaining, because I love RJ, but I wonder what made him change his mind. |

murray IMO has not fleeced anyone in a trade, in fact he probably overpaid in all of the bigger moves
aside from the miller trade - homiedclown
Basically what i was saying is, in the future he COULD fleece a team with Franson if he returns to his potential.
Not that he is fleecing a team like he has in the past.
Because if that were my point, i would have used the word "again."
So, this is kind of like the game of telephone. One persons lack of reading comprehension starts a whole other conversation that doesnt even have anything to do with the original statement.

Probably the realization that he needs at least 2 years to call a truly meaningful playoff game. Also watching Jack Eichel can't hurt. |

Hopefully, its the potential to be in the playoffs sooner rather than later. |

I do not think Murray is in a position now to fleece anyone, aside from a weber, legwand or any other low value rentals, it's more of the kane/ror moves where overpayments are made to improve the top half of the roster
it's full steam ahead and the sell off period ended when nolan got canned and jack got drafted
my 2 cents

That's what I was thinking too. I can't wait for the season to officially start. |

Thats why i caid "could."
Future tense.
All based on what Franson has the potential to do if put in the position to succeed.
In which case, he may be more valuable to keep and resign or let walk if he wants too much money.
This is all based on the article posted about him a couple pages back.
He has better numbers than players making more than twice his salary.
Just speculating because there's not much elst to talk about besides Patrick Kane.
And thats starting to sound like MTV's "real world NHL."

I believe I saw on twitter that bodog has us only gaining + 5 games this year. I am scraping up money to get that action. - Slump Buster
I just want to see better hockey this year.
Anything is better than last year. |

I bet the same roster and a different coach would have made us 4 or 5 games better. |
