Hey, i didnt call you out on it.
You certainly seem to have a hrd-on for conflict today though.
Im getting away from the internet for the rest of the day.
So, go find someone else...... - seedy

I just want to see better hockey this year.
Anything is better than last year. - seedy
adding Eichel , Reinhart ... Kane and O'Reilly to the same team at once is a level of insane no one is acknowledging. It is most likely the biggest single addition of talent applied to a team at once ever, in the history of the NHL.

I too like Murray's deals with the exception of the Lehner deal. However, not sure he fleeced anyone on any of the trades. I think the last "fleecing" occurred when DR got a 1st for Gaustad. And I hate Regier..... - SabreWest
of course he didnt fleece anyone. he wants a team thats big, and athletic, and talented, and driven. you pay a premium for those players. i dont care if he "fleeces" anybody. im fine with him making hockey trades as long as it gets us closer to a late june parade down delaware some time in the next few years.

Kiss of death on the season - DDM-Coga
This season is going to be interesting because with so many parts having been added at once, it may take a while for them to jell. Or it could be an absolute disaster of epic proportions.
We just have to wait and see how it all plays out now.

sam gagner might hit 70 points. if they extend the season to 117 games. and he plays all of them. based on career averages. - rover16
Putting aside the source for a minute (I know that can be tough to do), can anyone think of an NHL team in recent memory that had a bigger offseason? I am including Kane in that because he didn't play last year. That's an astounding and incredible roster upgrade.

I would say Minny is better considering they added those 3 and gave away nothing.
We gave away 5 1st round picks (Grigo, Zads, Armia, 25th,21st)
Lemiux
Myers
Compher - sbroads24
As per months of conversation the only thing that mattered in all of that was Zads. Grigo might be a 2nd line center, he might be a total bust. The rest are bottom 6 or worse. You do have to count Myers in that, of course. One could also argue that Minny blew up there cap doing that. Either way... probably not worth arguing about. Very comparable offseasons.

this.
He hasn't fleeced anyone (yet?).
Who cares if he did...Darcy fleeced plenty, wiffed on many...still take Murray over Darcy every day all day, 2x on Sunday.

So could Reinhart. Not saying he will be, but it's not set in stone that he is a star either. I also don't possibly see how we can project guys like Armia, Lemieux, Compher or Zads. They all matter. Either way, we infused a ton of talent
I would actually remove Reinhart from the list because he was drafted last year, and put Franson on it

2012-13 Minnesota Wild
Suter
Parise
Brodin - sbroads24
There wasn't nearly the hype around Brodin though that Eichel/Reinhart have. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, because he's been very good for them. But it's still much different.
