Agree Pedan has showed some promise and overall has looked better than Corrado. I still think Corrado is a better option (or Pedan) than Bieksa for now but it's clear his (Corrado) game still needs work. - LordHumungous
I don't see COrrado as the better option. His offensive game is not that strong and he is not strong enough to move people in front.
Pedan reminds me off Engelland , every team should have one of that type player.
If you are an opposing player and trying to get in front of the net to get hacked and whacked, who would you rather face ? COrrado or Pedan? |

One thing I will say for sure is , it is time to give up the Sbisa experiment.
Cut your losses. |

If you are hoping for a top 5 pick , keep him.
Pedan was -1 last night because he happend to be the other Dman on when Sbisa made that bad chip in that led to the 2 on 1 and goal. Sbisa drags his partner down. |

I haven't watched a game or any training camp/preseason yet. Between work bull$hit and home its been a crazy month. I can't form an actual opinion due to life issues getting in the way of hockey life. I have barely been able to make time to read Carols blogs and don't get much time to read the comments. |

I hear you for the most part I just feel that since Bieksa has been so god-awful the past few seasons, I was really hoping to see Corrado slot into his spot and run with it. Yes Corrado still has strength issues but he will make fewer mistakes than Bieksa and his effort level is much higher.
And yes we do need a guy like Pedan to clear space in front. I have a feeling Bartkowski will clear space as well.
On the Sbisa thing he will get his minutes to start the season so we'll see. Need to see much more out of him. |

I like him better than three of our current starters.
He has not made any mistakes. He is playing a tough stay home type D and a hard shot. |

To many people died within last month in the family.
All is good though just really busy dealing with stuff nobody wants to deal with but eventually we all have too.
I had a good couple of days with the wife and good friends without the kids. Went to AC/DC stayed in hotel and just had fun for a couple days in the city. Much needed break away from life. Oh I saw Bo at Cafe Medina. Big kid.

Did you watch the game last night? There are two Flames fans at work, so annoying that even in pre-season I have to put up with them. |
