What a bunch of Bull Sh!t. Bieksa has no business being at #2. Hard to put him in the top 10 even..but he was here long enough to earn it I suppose.

I think he was very popular, but if he is listed among the best, it makes it look like the Canucks have never won a Stanley Cup or did that not happen?

I can see him as one of the most popular. Maybe it was a fan vote

I think the Canucks surprise and win a close 2-1 game tonight, revenge for the humilation of the 7-4 elimination game loss last year. Plus it's preseason and I don't see Calgary's first line going all out and potentially getting injured against Vancouver's lineup that's mostly of AHL-calibre talent and players looking to make an impression.

Ohlund was pretty good though, I don't have an argument with him being #1. Just remember him and his clutch goals and fighting Iggy.

I can see him being in the top ten. In his prime he was quite good and a physical deterrent

It is too bad Canucks did not send out an all youngster team to see what the future looks like

Sven Bo Grenier
Shink McCann JV
Gaunce Cassels Jensen
Stewart Vey Boeser

Hutton Pedan
Subban Cedarholm
Brisboise Sautner

I don't think playing all prospects gives you a good look. They need to see how they play with some experience around them... just like the real NHL.

Aucoin, Halward, Lanz, McCarthy and Lindgren were all as good as Bieksa and yet they put him 2nd, this list was put together by an idiot.

For me it's

Ohlund

Harold
Salo
Mitchell
Lumme
Aucoin
Lidster
Hamhuis
Kearns

And a lot of love to Aaron Rome

Pat Quinn, Dale Tallon

Edit: they should do this list by each decade

I'm sure the list maker was tempted to just put Beiksa on the list only.

Aucoin in his prime better than Bieksa in his prime? I'm happy KB has moved on as well, but he was a good player in his day. Aucoin, not so much.

No love for Babych's stache

Speaking of former Canucks defencemen I was surprised to see Doug Bodger as an alum at hockeyville...what was he a Canuck for 2 months?

The only problem with this is you have to take the good with the bad. Sometimes the bad isn't the players fault, playing hurt and nobody else ready to step in.

But you do realize Aucoin had 23 goals in one of his seasons here...
