Probably continue saying that until he carries it over into the regular season. What happens when they inevitably stick him on a line with McGinn and Gionta and the D paired up with him his Colaiacavo and Donavan? It'll be a miserable experience for him whether he's ready or not.

the 21st pick in the draft, which was originally the NY islanders pick...he also traded away the 31st pick in the draft but still had the 2nd overall...he also landed Brendan guhle with the 51st pick which was from the islanders...he also traded the pick he got from the blues in the ryan miller trade...

most agree that Lehner for a first was a reach, but there's only so much room for prospects and draft picks...losing a bottom-third pick in the first round isn't detrimental to future success...

and in bagging on him for possibly missing out on a draft pick in "one of the deepest drafts in quite some time," kudos should be given him and his staff for picking guhle who looks to be a real good one

From what ive been reading
the '13 draft was the deepest draft with potential top end picks falling to 15-20 range
If murray believes lehrner is the guy, pick number 21 doesnt seem like such a bad thing to me.
