It's not "their" goal song. It would be one thing for them to pick the one Chicago uses at this point. That would be really stupid. But the Devils are just starting to use it. And it's not up to the Sabres at this point, they're leaving it up to the fans.
NJ doesn't have any type of exclusive right to it I'm sure, so it's not a big deal.
If you check this article out, you'll see that there's a lot of teams that use the same songs.
The point of this stupid contest was for us to have our own goal song that's what we've wanted for years to pump up the crowd I don't want someone else's song that they're using but that's just my opinion

And who's to say the Devils marketing guys didn't see our list and then decide they really like Howl? For all we know, they could have stolen the idea of using it from us to begin with.

We have seen your song types and have purposely removed them from our memories.

Only a rebuke that 'has something in it' will sting, will have the power to stir our feelings, not the other sort, as we know.
And it is only after seeing man as his unconscious, revealed by his dreams, presents him to us that we shall understand him fully.

I may end up eating my words regarding Guhle. Last week I said he was doing great but he should be sent down for his development. In another week, he may be our #2 behind Risto!

Also...Him being out to lunch..errr mean out of state, When will he be at a Sabres game to hear it ? - cabin
Very true. Currently, it appears that I'll be there 14 times to hear whatever it is they choose this year.
Though, in his defense, you can hear it on the broadcasts too. It's not like I've ever been to Chicago for a game, but I certainly can tell you I've heard their goal song plenty.
