I still stand by the fact that the primary reason Murray went after Lehner was age. The other guys that were available/moved were all older. Lehner fits the timeline better. We've all seen that he can be dominant. Let's hope he can get back there. It wasn't all that long ago that people in here were saying how much they'd like to get Lehner because we all hated playing against him. Let's not also forget he's only 24 years old. Very much still coming into his prime.

It's been pretty quiet around here. I'm surprised it hasn't picked up a bit more with the preseason more than half over. The first regular season game in the NHL is played one week from tomorrow.

I love this time of year!!!

The guy hadn't played since February. Being out that long is tough on any goalie. Their position is all about timing. It's going to take a bunch of game action for him to start to even remotely look comfortable back there.

How about we not judge his play here based off of 2 preseason games where half the team won't be on the roster come opening night?

I drink too much coffee. I have a very poor diet, and I drink alot of Genesee beer. From time to time, I get weeping hemorrhoids. Though I'm not nearly as fit as I used to be, I still run 5K 3 - 5 times a week. When I do, I perspire pretty hard, and big streams of sweat tend to roll down my back, across my hips and down to the bottom of my torso.

During these runs, if I wear regular unders (as opposed to spandex) they tend to bunch up in my buttcrack, where the combination of my lifestyle and my exercise produces disastrous results.
