Vantel's "5 man PP" comment was. - Nucker101
Gotcha.
I've got no problem with them doing their thing, it works, but I definitely wouldn't complain about a competent second unit as well. |

Yeah, our PP would actually be deadly if we had a decent 2nd unit because the 1st unit is one of the best. |

I know this is a shot at the Twins but statistically our first unit finishes top 10 every year except under Torts. It's the 2nd unit that's always dead last and thus the PP finishes in the middle. - Nucker101
Our second unit was Higgins Matthias Burrows Hamhuis for 35 seconds
McCann and Hutton work good together with the extra space. The rotate the puck quickly |

Don't go down this slippery slope man
Burrows and Bonino averaged 2 minutes per game on the PP, Sedins averaged 3. And the top 10 stat I referenced takes into account length of shifts and they still finish top 10. |

Yet it works every year
I don't want to get into this so let's agree to disagree. I'll stick to being okay with the top 10 production - Nucker101
Been a while since we had a PP that actually had 2 GOOD units that can be a threat to score. |

That's two PP goals those two have connected on now, no? Horvat finished the first one off? |

Even a mediocre second unit would be a revelation. |

Alright. I agree that they're more suited for a PP than Dorsett/Burrows/Higgins/Sutter |

Yup. Must be nice for other stars who actually have backup and don't have the entire weight of the team to carry the PP and offense. |
