You are right, last year is so...last year

Now you are thinking clearly.

Sutter sucks.

Edit: he's the Justin Trudeau of the NHL.

Everyone remember a week ago when the consensus was pre-season games mean very little and to not get too worked up about the play......

Funny how all of a sudden all the prospects are ready to take over for vets now.

Jays World Series win > Canucks Stanley Cup win.
- Scooby_Doo

Jays should mop up the American League but if they run into STL I think it might be lights out...

Canucks won't be contending for a cup until the Sedins and the last of the old core are gone.

Haha very true....

But seriously,

Mccan, Gaunce, Virt are all > Higgins + Kennins

Hutton > Corrado

It's funny that the Sedins are still our best players and yet we need them gone to compete for a cup. Strange days indeed.

I think anybody can win the American league.

Stl and Mets look amazing. And hey Dodgers are gonna throw Kershaw and Grienke at you 5 out of 7 games. Kershaw is the best pitcher in baseball overall and Grienke has probably been the best this season.

Based on his play, he should get sent down but my guess is he gets a few games first.

Of course just to make sure his feeling don't get hurt......

We are a week away from opening night . You need to have some type of idea of who you are going to send out opening night

Of course and I think there is a good chance a few rookies have done enough but no vets are going to lose their jobs and you don't spend as much time developing a player like Corrado to throw him away just because Hutton has played well in pre-season.

Pre-season man, we're talking about pre-season, what are we talking about ? pre-season. not a game, not a game.....pre-season....

I have no problem getting rid of core players. I would rather he had seen the writing on the wall with Bieksa since JB is supposed to be great at assessing talent... he couldn't see that Bieksa was about to take a dive.

I didn't like the trade for the 2nd then and I think its even worse now since he could have just as easily moved Bieksa, and at the time for a greater return. it comes down to asset management. reminds me of MGs move to get rid of grabner instead of raymond.

if he really needed a guy to fill in while the core developed, i'm sure he could have done a lot better.

i'm glad to see MGs picks panning out now. i just wonder how JBs picks will compare.

I never compared Garrison to bobby orr, just to Bieksa... so there is that.

Canucks need all the chances to draft a half decent player that they get since we have almost zero solid D prospects roaming around in the A, or junior and hardly any scorer types outside of Boeser, Shink, and Virtanen. none of whom are looking to break through any time soon...

The reason garrison was traded.
3 left handed d making over 4 million per.
The fans clamored for him to be traded.
Edler>garrison
Hamhuis> garrison
Tanev was not proven.
You don't trade you're only proven right hander

What has Corrado done to make this team? Nothing. Hutton has earned a spot in my opinion. You don't have to waive Corrado, trade him for a 4th round pic

I don't remember a big clamor to trade Garrison. There was a lot of money tied up with the d though and changes were needed...

Looking at Sbisa presently, are you happy with Sbisa or would be happier to have Garrison at the higher cap hit? Guessing the answer would be neither, and that is okay, I don't disagree.

Sometimes I wonder if you even watch other teams. Corrado isn't some valuable commodity that teams will trade a 4th for when they have similar depth dmen.
