Doubt they're going at 100%, it's pre-season and they literally have nothing to play for. And I think you're forgetting how slow they looked last year, it's pretty much the same. Thankfully their game has zero reliance on speed.

Sutter has been pretty invisible, so that's an improvement. I thought the Vey line had some good shifts in the first, but this second period is hard to watch. It's like Tortorella hockey.

I like the physicality and speed JV brings with the Twins, but the offensive styles just don't mesh at all. They should try him with Horvat or Vey.

No one has looked good with the twins that's why Vrbata or Burrows will play with them.
