they finished 27th out of 30 teams last season...for me, i'll keep my expectations lowered for this season

To clarify, im not implying i've got some sort of inside source. I've heard/read it multiple times on TSN and twitter

He's gotten limited time so far this preseason (40 minutes), but he's looked good in that small time frame.

I'd like to see him get a good amount of work in one of them. If he does better than Johnson, I'd be fine with keeping him here instead and sending Johnson down.

While that's a viable alternative, the Sabres need to figure out a way to get all these games on local television. For a supposed "big time" hockey market, the way they are handling this is pretty amateurish.

I honestly feel the opposite. He was a complete trainwreck last year. He seems to be back to normal, just hasn't been given much work as I feel the plan they have in place is to send him to Rochester.

In all fairness, up until this year, the only Bills preseason games you could see were the road ones (and yes, I get that it's because of NFL blackout rules, etc).
