It probably would only be for this year anyway. My hope is that Reinhart starts off next season as the 2C at the latest. Ideally, he'll be in that role before the end of this year.

I don't think we brought in ROR at 7M just to move him to 2RW within a year.

Why can't we have a Crosby and Malkin type situation and have a very formidable top 2 lines with ROR and Eichel. Put Reinhart or Gus as a wing on 2RW and keep Moulson, Ennis, and Kane

The problem is that both Gus and Reinhart's style of play is better suited for C. If I'm not mistaken, our Colorado friend that hangs out here mentioned that O'Reilly was more productive on the W than he was at C there.

I'm also going to be VERY interested in who is wearing our letters here in the next few years.

I know Gionta has the C for now but I have to imagine that Kane, ROR, Girgensons, and Bogo/Gorges are credible to wear A's this season.

I'm hoping that the plan is still for Girgensons to wear the C when Gionta retires or leaves. I could see ROR in that competition now though.

It's actually 8 days. First game for us is one week from tomorrow.

DDM-Conga is a good one to listen to I agree. My brother-in-law is an Avs fan so I watch a lot of their games too.

ROR was very productive at wing because he was next to Duchene and Landeskog in that role. When he was at Center he was with PAP and like Tanguay or McGinn. MacKinnion was 3C and some winger next to ROR if I remember right.

Have we acquired Yandle yet?
