Im sure there is a dominant team in your league but you are set up nicely for the future.

With Tim Murray making the trade my guess is we would offer McCabe, Ennis and our next three first round picks. If they turned that down we would add Bailey and Baptiste to sweeten the deal.

Yeah. It's only an 8 team league, but each team has 30 roster spots. It's a lot to try and keep up with, which is part of why I still didn't do all that great last year.

I was starting to make a push up the rankings a bit and then realized it was stupid because realistically I wasn't going to make the playoffs and then I'd also lose out on getting the top waiver claim. So I pulled a Sabre Tank and got the guy I wanted. Though, I won't lie, I did consider taking Eichel instead.

If the Sabres add Yandle it would have to go down as one of the biggest off seasons in NHL history for one team.

Agreed, but I just see Yandle wanting to win now. LA, Dallas, Mon, ANA (just to name a few) I think would sound better than Buffalo at this point of his career. I could also be 100% wrong. Maybe he sees what Sabres fans see down the not so distant future.

I'm coming into town to party with my college buds (Toe, Fat Rich and Yih-bo) before the Bills game.

We'll be up in Amherst but I'll see if I can't talk them into heading down your way. Fat Rich and Yih-bo will be coming in from the Midwest and could probably stand for some really good wings.

Maybe some day we'll get them in town for a hockey game.

Out of teams that can afford to give him $6 million plus I think Buffalo is the destination long term.

Next season a playoff team, the year after a legit contender IMO if things go well this year
