Hutton is said to have a weak defensive game. If he turns out to be awful defensivily. He could be a way better version of Justin Schultz. Equal to Schultz on O and althlthiugh awful defensively, still miles ahead of Schuktz

Hows this for humor... skunked two days in a row for the first time this entire season... over 90 days of fishing... the fish whisperer turns into the skunk whisperer


The water came up high when I arrived and kept on rising. Three hookups yesterday, none landed. Today,,, not a single grab.... not even a sympathy duck(yesterday I got a duck on my line).

It's not very good in the north country I've learned... going to do the Cowichan, Stamp and Gold this winter... maybe a couple lesser known spots as well...


edit: There's still 2 good months of steelhead in the Skeena tribs... I'm doing a trip later to the Morice.

I'm in New Hazelton fishing the mouth of the Bulkley river. Not effected by tides. If I was in Terrace not far down stream,,, the river would very lightly swell still and the fishing activity is still spaced out by the tides quite a bit.

2nd surgery on Friday - God I could just breakdown, that kids been thru so much. To top it off I got laid off today...poopty week.

Do yourself a favour and don't read the last 17 pages, it's back to Benning, lack of negotiating, giving pics away when he didn't need to, prospects should be playing over vets, vets should be giving 100% in preseason, if they don't the prospects should have their spot on the roster. Miller shouldn't have been signed, Prust is slow, Dorrset contract is to long, Sutter is a 3rd liner, so should have keep Bonino because he's cheaper...and so on.

Oh and McCann will play the last 2 preseason games,

Unfortunately yes. Nurse plays well when he has guys that will sh1t on him when he is playing like an idiot. Don't see anyone on edmonton that will do that.

Jobs come and go, no biggy, but when your children are sick it's absolutely heartbreaking. BC has some great people working on the frontlines of healthcare. I have huge respect for our surgical staff. They'll take care of your daughter.

I think there is going to be a few good pickups when teams start to release or waive players. Saying that, Booth and Sestito are not good NHL players and should think about playing in europe if they want to continue playing hockey.

I see Magnus Paajarvi is on waivers again. Good AHL player. Still young. Not sure of value.

Huttons played well its a shame he wont make this team. Oh well. It is what it is.
