If need be Benning will trade players, but don't expect great value in them. If higgins is worth a 3rd usually think a 4th and maybe adding a 6th/7th, at this time of year, kind of deals to take place.

Every team needs a Sbisa. Vantel, don't give into Nucker and the other kids rants. He is a a physical beast. Yes, he (frank)s up all the time but he is one of 2 players that makes the other team accountable. Guys, if you don't understand the need for grit in your lineup (frank)off and play tennis

I think Benning views Sbisa as a Ference-type player. He has good skating abilities and is physical which should help him defend, he just needs to simplify things in his head and really be as basic as possible, and play under 15 per night a la Ference.

...I'm curious what it is you think Tim Murray did in Buffalo... Or the folks in Toronto....

Put Bickell on the 4th line with Prust and Dorsett. Move Sutter to the Sedin line and turn Hank into the winger. Horvat can carry Vrbata on the 2nd line with Virtanen. McCann can centre third line with Hansen and Gaunce. Bundle up Burrows and Vey/Higgins and get them the hell out of here.

We can bundle up Hammer and Edler at TDL.
