It doesn't sound like WD is expecting youth in the line up this year. I think one of the young guys (Gaunce, McCann, Virtanen, Hutton) get a shot at the opening day roster. I understand asset management and all that but those 4 guys have played their way onto the roster by outplaying some of the vets.

WD is going to make Benning a liar by stating that if you earn a spot they will make room for you.

I think McCann is going back and JV might get his 9 games. WD talking about the vets picking up their game and all the d playing well. Everyone playing well, spots go to vets.

If JV earns a spot, is there any interest in Dorsett or Prust around the league? Higgins or Hansen? JV has to at least play in the bottom 6 to start the season, sticking or not.

I guess he was head coach of the guelph Storm 2 years ago, and they won the OHL Championship so I guess he has experience with young guys which is good.

Now if they can just get rid of that Dinosaur Delorme

He'll be good. Scott's a character guy who has a knack for getting the most out of the people he's with. Expect good things.
