Yes, that seems to be your entire game.

Not much game.

Works with the ladies.

Not desireable ladies, mind you.

...and you still have to pay, but I mean, it works.

You think any of the above will make $4.375 million per over the next 6 years?

I think not.

Seeing this thread and finally realizing that having Linden as a first name might not be enough to keep his job, Vey is asking that he be referred to as Sutter. Paperwork for official name change has been filed.

I can't think of anyone else in Canada who's got so far on his fathers name.
- bloatedmosquito

It isn't his fathers name, but Jared Staal had no business being drafted where he was or getting the playing opportunities he has gotten because of his older brothers.

I think it's becoming clear that at some point over the summer... Sutter's feeling were hurt.
- boonerbuck

I only take partial responsibility for that.

No agreeing with Bingo even if he's right. He's incapable of having a non-troll conversation.

Ain't that the truth.

Thankfully he was not given a contract this year.

Im suprised Hurricanes couldn't pry Marc away from NYR. I thought all the Butt brothers would be on the same team.

He did improve, just hasn't improved enough to warrant making the NHL yet. Time will tell as always but wouldn't be shocked if we see him at some point this year.

Can't stress how huge, the Utica comets and Green becoming part of the organization has been.

- belcherbd

While it's a small sample size so far. My spidy sense tells me we should eventually move on from Willie and hire Green.
You here the players talk about Green, he is a motivator and teacher.

Secretly I'm hoping Green doesn't get hired by a NHL team so he can eventually replace WD when he's eventually let go like all coaches are.

Maybe, from what I have seen of Green he coaches much like Arniel. Very important to get young players to buy into the 2way game but I would like to see at some point an offensively minded coach.

Willie will be fired after the season. Canucks finish out of the playoffs and somebody is the fall guy.

The players hate Arneil. Just about every player(sans setisto) has raved about green. And he is no nonsense

Now I'm thinking Hutton doesn't get his 9. One game maybe but I think he's AHL bound to play big minutes.
- bloatedmosquito

The only players who "get 9" are the junior aged players. Hutton can be sent to the AHL and recalled any time. If you remember last year the Oilers kept Dr. Dre up for 15 or something games before returning him to Prince Albert. One year of his ELC burnt.

Agreed. Green seems like that rare type that can coach a two-way system and be hard-on guys, yet the players like him.
